A team of four McQueeney VFD volunteers joined the Guadalupe County Fire and Rescue squad in bringing help to the flood ravaged hill country last week. They took with them tools and fuel that had been donated by the community. Shown in the top picture are McQueeney first responders Mike and Josh Poteet and Lauren and Rex Hildebrand. Thank you team for relieving hill country first responders that are surely exhausted after more than a week of recovery and clean-up efforts, and thank you to the McQueeney community for their generous donations!
