The McQueeney Volunteer Fire Department participated in several fall and halloween related festivities over the last 2 weeks. Volunteers from the department helped with the Seguin Fall Festival and Car Show downtown on October 18th, benefiting Guadalupe County volunteer fire departments. Volunteers also helped out at Ice-Ice on Terminal Loop Road in McQueeney on October 25th as they celebrated Halloween. They also partnered with the McQueeney VFW in their Ghostly Gathering on Sunday October 26th.
