The McQueeney VFD was recently awarded $20,000 from the GVEC PowerUp Grant Program. The program is funded by customers who allow GVEC to round up their monthly charges to the nearest dollar. The grant was used to buy much needed rescue equipment to outfit our response vehicles. Shown in the picture are representatives from GVEC and McQueeney VFD volunteers.
